The Oriental Wok sits in the heart of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, offering
true southern hospitality with an Asian flair. From the moment you enter
the doors, you will immediately be greeted by a member of the Wong family.
Your adventure begins there as they escort you to your seat through the
giant tusks and over the bridge crossing the goldfish ponds and fountains.
A gorgeous chandelier hangs over the pianist, who sets the mood for a
relaxing evening.The restaurant offers romantic settings with cozy booths on the back wall. However, it is just as accommodating to a family who is out on the town. The Asian theme is displayed throughout with rich and exotic colors. The entire restaurant can be seen from any seat in the house. But wait, there’s more! Just want to stop by for a drink? The Wong’s offer a festive bar area, and when the weather is nice, outside seating is available. And let’s not forget their banquet facilities. Brides and Grooms take note, too. The Wong’s will treat you like royalty and give your guests a great time!
The staff will be happy to assist you in your dining selections. One of
the house specialties is the Beef Hoh Fun: wide noodles mixed with a
garlicky brown sauce, bean sprouts and beef that is so tender it melts in
your mouth. Top that off with a chocolate Lucky Monkey, with fresh banana,
chocolate and caramel fried in a crispy cinnamon sugar shell and served hot
with vanilla ice cream. You will certainly have to loosen your buttons
around the waist! If you are looking for a desert that pays tribute to the
Chinese heritage, may I suggest the amazingly sweet but very light Mango
Custard.
So how much will this experience cost? Appetizers range from $1.75 - $10.95, noodles $10.95 - $13.95, entrees $8.95 - $21.95, specialties $13.95 - $21.95 and dessert $3.25 - $5.25.
